Don’t expect to be motivated every day to get out there and make things happen. You won’t be. Don’t count on motivation. Count on Discipline.

Almost two weeks in and the number of participants is starting to lag off. People get busy, they realize there is more to this challenge than they thought, or maybe they took on the challenge thinking they would support others, to find out that it is keeping them from their previous commitments.
All of those reasons are valid…if you don’t want to finish.
Personally, I am running behind on both miles and steps (stairs). I am going to have to pick it up a little, myself. Motivation of running this challenge isn’t enough. Discipline to hit my daily targets is what it will take for me to hit my goals.
We did manage to break the 300-mile mark yesterday, though.
With that being said, here are the numbers for Day 13:
Miles rucked On Day 13: 29.18 miles.
Miles Rucked Through 13 Days: 300.65 miles.

Steps (Stairs) Climbed on Day 13: 530 stairs (53.00 flights)
Steps (Stairs) Climbed Through Day 13: 34,807 stairs (3,480.70 flights)

Steps took a nose dive on Day 13. Something tells me that Day 14 will re-bound.
LFG!
