Everest in May – Day 22

When Pierpoint says he’s coming for you. You run…

Heinrich “Spartacus” Henstock

Wow.

Wowwy, wow, wow, wow.

I posted yesterday that the leader in miles rucked had commented that he would be taking over on steps (stairs) climbed as soon as he got home from where he was at currently. He didn’t have stairs to climb, so he has essentially posted zero steps (stairs) climbed so far.

And I believe the guy.

What I didn’t know, was that some of our other challengers would say, “Oh no he didn’t!”

Yesterday we set two records for the challenge. Most steps (stairs) as a group in one day, and most steps (stairs) by a single person in one day.

Heinrich “Sparatacus” Henstock climbed 5,200 steps (stairs) in one day, making him the second challenger to complete the challenge by steps (stairs) and the new leader in steps (stairs).

I’m still a little in shock, frankly.

Here are the numbers for Day 22:

Miles rucked On Day 22: 35.67 miles.

Miles Rucked Through 22 Days: 545.73 miles.

Steps (Stairs) Climbed on Day 22: 9,904 stairs (990.40 flights)

Steps (Stairs) Climbed Through Day 22: 69,692 stairs (6,969.20 flights)

The Daily Rankings, as I mentioned I would start sharing, are as follows:

Miles Through Day 22:

Steps (Stairs) Through Day 22:

A little bit of friendly competition is always a good thing. Will it continue?

I hope so.
