We made it!
On the last day of 31 Days, we had only 7 participants, who walked, ran, rowed, mountain biked, or rucked, 26.59 miles, bringing the monthly total to 1,740.61 miles. We JUST MISSED 1750 miles total, but still pretty impressive!
Overall, we had 28 participants in the challenge, with anywhere from 1.28 miles logged, to 250.63 miles logged.
Joe and Tom ended the month in a mutually agreed upon tie for 1st Place. Over the month, 1st Place belonged to the following challengers:
Tom: 15 days in first, 2 days tied for first. – 250.63 miles total.
Joe: 9 days in first, 2 days tied for first. – 250.63 miles total.
Jeff: 5 days in first. – 141.33 miles total.
Tom has conceded the free t-shirt to Joe, for now, with the understanding that Joe will relinquish the shirt when he visits Germany (where Tom lives), and Tom will do the same when he visits the United States.
For anyone else who would like to purchase a shirt, details will be posted soon.
Final, Top 3:
1. Joe Aagard – 250.63 total miles (0.00 miles on Day 31)
1. Tom Kingwell – 250.63 total miles (0.11 miles on Day 31)
3. John Davies – 163.28 miles (2.57 miles on Day 31)
While I did not hit my goal of 100 miles, I did manage to put up more miles (in rucking) this month, than any previous month I have attempted to do so. April will see improvement.
What have you done this month that you can be proud of?
How have you challenged yourself?
